• The student must have passed class 12th with a minimum of 50% marks from a science background.
• There is no minimum percentage for diploma courses and each institute has its own set of requirements.
• Students can also be admitted to certain colleges on the bases of the board examination marks.
• Colleges generally select students based on the scores obtained in state or national level entrance examinations. Many colleges conduct a private entrance exam for paramedical courses.
